Providing training using virtual reality gives access to ‘undiscovered talent’, according to Bharani Rajakumar, CEO, Transfr.

WorkingNation sat down with Rajakumar at SXSW EDU 2023 in Austin.

VR allows learners to learn with a digital coach and builds confidence to enter the job market, he says.

Rajakumar continues, “Our primary focus is working with high schools, two-year colleges, and workforce development boards. And we focus on jobs that are referred to as middle-skill jobs. These are jobs that do not require a four-year degree. They comprise about 50% of the U.S. economy.”
