The Hispanic Federation is a capacity-builder working through its network of Latino-serving organizations, according to Frankie Miranda, president & CEO, Hispanic Federation.

Miranda says whether the organizations are serving rural or urban areas, they know the needs of their communities.

WorkingNation sat down with Miranda at SXSW EDU in Austin.

Miranda says innovative work is being done to help the Latino community access opportunity to learning digital skills. He notes that funding from Google.org led to the creation of a digital accelerator.

This is supporting “organizations in workforce development that are working across the country and needed help creating or expanding their curriculums to provide better services with the focus of digital scaling in the community.”
