As a former fossil fuel state, Colorado has become a national leader when it comes to green innovation. With plans to be at 80% renewable energy by 2030, the state has been amassing its green workforce in both the public and private sectors. Most notably, Colorado has proven itself a veritable greenhouse for green entrepreneurs, with small businesses employing 9 out of every 10 clean energy workers.
