Jonathan Finkelstein is the CEO of Credly which “empowers organizations to officially recognize individuals for demonstrated competencies and skills. Our mission is to connect people to opportunity based on their talent and capabilities.”

Finkelstein says skills and experience attained outside a college degree should be considered by employers. “Most people do show up at the door knowing something and that needs to be honored and respected,” says Finkelstein.

He says the events of recent months offer an opportunity to effect real cultural changes and combat inequity in the workplace.

WorkingNation interviewed Finkelstein for #WorkingNationOverheard as a media partner with the JFF Horizons 2020 conference. You can watch all the interviews on our YouTube channel.
