Jonathan Keidan, the founder of Torch Capital, is a long-time entrepreneur and investor who has spent his career at the intersection of the media, technology and entertainment industries.

His investment firm helps shepherd the next generation of mission-driven consumer companies. He talks with us about some of those companies, the types of jobs they employ, and how technology is taking their business to the next level.

Jonathan is also the co-founder of digital media publication InsideHook.

Jonathan previously worked at McKinsey and Company and for former General Electric CEO Jack Welch, where he helped launch his online education venture JWMI.

WorkingNation was on the ground at Milken Global Conference 2019 where some of the most powerful people in business, government, healthcare, and entertainment have gathered to discuss and debate how the world is being disrupted by economic and social change and what to do about it. The goal of the talk at the conference is how to drive shared prosperity.

While there, we documented all things future of work on Twitter at #WorkingNationOverheard and in interviews at our pop-up studio (watch our playlist below).
