Report: SkillUp - a coalition of more than 90 organizations - shares the impact it has made since its 2020 launch

A new report from SkillUp highlights the coalition’s efforts to support displaced workers. SkillUp connects workers to resources to help facilitate career shifts into good, living-wage jobs.

Launched in 2020, the organization’s collaborators include more than 90 nonprofits, training providers, and employers.

Impact over the last two years includes:

  • More than 5,600 job placements
  • 29,650 referrals to employers
  • 20,455 referrals to training partners
  • More than $1.8M in scholarships and grants for SkillUp workers

According to SkillUp, a key has been partnerships in the Bay Area, Los Angeles, Florida, Louisiana, northern Nevada, Philadelphia, New York City, and Ohio. Kentucky and Dallas are to follow.
