Gabriela Burian on the need for sustainability experts across companies

Gabriela Burian is the Global Director for Sustainable Food Systems at Bayer Crop Science, the Liaison Delegate with the World Business Council for Sustainable Development and with the World Economic Forum. “One thing that has been very interesting in terms of sustainability,” Gabrielle shares, “there’s more and more of a need for sustainability experts across our companies.” Gabriela is an agricultural engineer with a master’s degree from the University of Science and Technology Languedoc. She has also received advanced training in the field of sustainability. She is Brazilian living in St. Louis where she chairs the St. Louis Business Community Partnerships, serves as an executive board member with the Ladue Education Foundation, and as president of the Bayer Latin Business Resources Network.
