John Battelle is CEO and co-founder of Recount Media. Battelle is an entrepreneur, author, professor, and journalist whose career has centered around creating media properties. He says as a media company, it’s important to have a staff that represents the diversity of the nation.

He adds companies should be rethinking their actions as business leaders in response to events of recent months. Battelle says the robust conversations can steer change. “One thing that gives me hope is the rapidity with which change seems possible right now.”
