We’re a month into the new year – and we continue to look for job pathways around the country. Here are our latest finds.

From Delaware: Delaware Business Times reports the state launched a tuition incentive program to attract more to train to become certified nursing assistants.

From Nebraska: The Grand Island Independent reports the state’s Career Scholarships initiative is having significant impact on student success and workforce growth in health care, engineering, and other fields.

From Nevada: 2News reports Nevadaworks, the hub for job seekers and employers in 13 northern counties, is promoting its free, state-sponsored programming.

From Texas: Dallas Innovates reports – with $1 million in state funds – Dallas College will provide over 600 new and current workers with customized training in administration, project management, roofing, dental hygiene, material handling, and desktop support.

From U.S. Virgin Islands: Yahoo!Finance reports the University of the Virgin Islands in partnership with an online health care and IT training provider – is offering programming and exam preparation opportunities to students.
