From California: Marketplace reports that the state’s incarcerated youth who have trained to fight wildfires – may find employment upon release.

From Oregon: Resource Recycling reports a program is training people who have had barriers to employment to work in hauling and recycling collections.

From Texas: KTSM reports El Paso Children’s Hospital has received a grant to assist with the workforce development of nursing students.
