Celeste Richie is vice president of workforce development for Results for America. The organization works with all levels of government “to harness the power of evidence and data to solve the world’s greatest challenges.”

Richie says recent events have fast-tracked action to change. Among them, changing patterns of hiring. She adds, “We hire people that are very similar to ourselves and have the same kinds of backgrounds and experiences.”

Richie continues, “It takes some creativity to figure out how to operationalize and invite people to share their experiences outside of just professional or academic settings.
