Jonathan Finkelstein on recognizing skills and experience

Jonathan Finkelstein is the CEO of Credly which “empowers organizations to officially recognize individuals for demonstrated competencies and skills. Our mission is to connect people to opportunity based on their talent and capabilities.”

Finkelstein says employers should consider skills and experience gained outside a college degree.

He adds the events of recent months have put a light on the inequities in the job market and it’s time “to think about the kinds of cultural change that we need in order to see the significant change we need in terms of a lack of equity and fairness.”

WorkingNation interviewed Finkelstein for #WorkingNationOverheard as a media partner with the JFF Horizons 2020 conference. You can watch all the interviews on our YouTube channel.
