Who are America’s veterans?

A reminder on this Veterans Day that the 18 million servicemen and women all share common bonds.
-
Veterans are those who served in the U.S. military (Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, and Coast Guard) both in times of war and in peace. There are more than 18 million veterans in the U.S. and whether their military role ended two decades ago or two days ago, a reminder on this Veterans Day, the servicemen and women all share the common bonds of duty, honor, and service to our nation. And when these heroes return home to their families, they resume living lives just like all of us.
